Today's Reflection

Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.

Reflection: as Lent is coming to an end with the glorious resurrection tomorrow, Easter Sunday and Spring is finally here, what is my part in renewing this earth?  And what can I do to bring goodness to my family, my workplace, my community?

Today's Reflection:

Today, that throne of grace is the Cross.  He was tested in every way; we can’t shock him; neither are our shortcomings too great for His mercy. Talk to Him. He listens, sympathizes, loves, and will tell us what we need to hear.

Today's Reflection:

Jesus answered and said to Peter, “That I am doing you do not understand now, but you will understand later.”

It is so hard to wait! It seems that we spend most of our lives waiting for something or someone. So often when we don't get what we want when we want it, we are angry at God. 

God, when I don't get the job I want, or when the person I have fallen in love with doesn't love me, or when I find myself in any difficult dilemma, help me remember that I may not understand why this is happening to me now, but if I trust in you and let your will be done, I'll realize later that you always have my best interests at heart.
